PARIS — The Oxford County Commission will meet Tuesday at the Courthouse.

The meeting will begin with a public hearing on the Fiscal Year 2013 Unorganized Territory budget set for 9:05 a.m.

The Commission is set to approve new job descriptions for the county Emergency Management Agency, which is undergoing a reorganization in the wake for former director Scott Parker’s resignation in July after an investigation by the Oxford County Sheriff’s Office on whether he broke privacy laws. The District Attorney’s Office declined to file charges against him.

Allyson Hill, a six-year employee of the EMA office, has been acting director since Parker was first placed on leave in May.

The commission will also choose a new chairman for 2012. Commissioner Caldwell Jackson served as chairman in 2011, following Steven M. Merrill’s chairmanship in 2010.

The meeting begins at 9 a.m. and is set to continue into the afternoon.
