LEWISTON — Steven Albert Jewell, 62, passed away Jan 13, at the d’Youville Nursing Home, after a long illness.

He was born May 17, 1949, in Wilton, to Walter and Eva (Snowman) Jewell. He attended Wilton schools. He enjoyed fishing, yard sales, family gatherings and reunions. He was married to Tina Grady of North Carolina.

He is survived by his daughter, Natasha Dawn Sanchez; grandson, Michael Andrew Sanchez and stepdaughter, Niena, all of North Carolina; four bothers, Fred Jewell of Wilton, Roland Jewell of Old Town, Irving Jewell of Sabattus and Roger Jewell of Lewiston; a sister, Barbara Haynes of Orland; and many loving nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his father, Walter Winslow East Jewell; brother, Charlie Jewell; nephew, Darren Jewell; and his loving mother, Eva M. Snowman Jewell.
