SOUTH BERWICK — The wedding of Bethany Milburn and Andrew Donald MacLeod was held at 4 p.m. on Oct. 22 under the arbor at Spring Hill in South Berwick. Notary public S. Nici Roubo, friend of the couple, officiated at the ceremony. The couple was surrounded by many family members and friends.

Mrs. MacLeod is the daughter of C. Allen and Linda Baker Milburn of Auburn. Mr. MacLeod is the son of Robert C. and Lucy Hale MacLeod, currently of Wells and formerly of Beverly, Mass.

Kerry McKenney, friend of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Stephenie McKeown, Jennifer Milburn, Katie Spring and Kelly Thornhill.

Serving as best man was Daniel MacLeod, brother of the bridegroom. Groomsmen were Alex Hahn, Kyle Flaherty, Matthew McKeown and Michael Shonkoff.

A reception followed in the banquet hall at Spring Hill. A honeymoon is planned in April for a cruise in the Caribbean.

The bride is a 1992 graduate of Edward Little High School. She received a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from the University of Maine at Farmington and a master’s degree from Lesley University in elementary education, curriculum and instruction. She is employed by RSU 21 as a second grade teacher at Kennebunk Elementary School.

The bridegroom is a 1993 graduate of Beverly High School. He received a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Bates College and a master’s degree in education from the University of Southern Maine. He is employed by RSU 57 as a science teacher at Massabesic High School.

The couple resides in Biddeford with their cats, Moxie and Maisy.
