LEWISTON — Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice has announced that six volunteers completed the visiting, office and hospice house greeter training held recently.

Those included Anne Dehetre-Arsenault of Lewiston, Patricia Berube of Auburn, Cindy Boyd of Mechanic Falls, Kathleen Mason of Greene, Vickie Morgan of Norway and Diane Morin of Auburn.

All volunteers are members of the health care team and are matched with patients in or near their communities. The training classes focus on volunteer opportunities that support patients receiving home care services as they recover from illness, surgery or a new medical condition.

The next training class will be held from noon to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15, at Parkview Hospital in Brunswick.
