AUBURN — Robin Dow Senior Citizens will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 25, at the American Legion Hall, 426 Washington St.
Tickets ($5) will be sold for the valentine luncheon on Wednesday, Feb. 8, with the crowning of the valentine king and queen. Dues must be paid in order to attend. Bingo will be played after the luncheon.
The group met Jan. 11 with 34 members present, under the direction of President Helen McGuire. Birthdays for January were observed. Members welcomed Robin Dow’s former treasurer, Irving Grant. It was reported that member Ellie Rolerson had recently fallen at her home and received broken bones. After being hospitalized at CMMC, she has returned to her home.
Installation Officer Lucy Cowles conducted installation of officers as follows: president, Helen McGuire; vice president, Carmela Hewit; recording secretary, Caroline Chapman; correspondence secretary, Irene Fraser; treasurer, Joyce Poole; assistant treasurer, Roy Tassinari; chaplain, Pat Donohue; membership chairwoman, Lucy Cowles; board of directors, Alwin Strout, Merry Strout, Lucien Marcoux, Virginia Houston and Ralph Lashua.
Trips Chairwoman Evelyn Sawin said she would be giving a definite date for the trip to Foster’s Clam to York and she will take reservations once the trip is finalized.
Attendance prize winners were Phillip Cyr and John Watson; pot of gold, Roy Tassinari, Beverly Lashua and Phillip Cyr; and mystery prize winners, Nancy Duprey, Anne Watson and Sylvia Thibodeau.
