LEWISTON — Beatrice L. St. Pierre, 88, of the Roak Block, 156 Main St., Auburn, died Sunday, Jan. 15, at the Marshwood Nursing Home.
Born in Richmond on Sept. 10, 1923, she worked for many years as a stitcher in the local shoe industry. In 1950, she married Albert J. St. Pierre, who passed away in 1992. She enjoyed crochet, playing on computers and shopping, but was first and foremost a “people person,” and loved interacting with all she met, and especially enjoyed all of her friends and neighbors in the Roak Block.
Survivors include two daughters, Judy and husband, Alan Farr of Arizona and Suzanne St. Pierre of Auburn; two grandchildren, Cheryl Dill and Thomas Farr; and a great-grandson, Jeremy Dill.
Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Roxanne Dill; and a son, Theodore Dill.
