AUBURN — Kathryn Horne, 88, of Dixfield, died Friday, Jan.20, at the Hospice House, with her daughter and son-in-law by her side.

She was born in Jay, a daughter of Erwin and Lillian (Fletcher) Parlin, and received her education in Dixfield schools. On Dec. 3, 1941, she married Henry “Stanley” Horne in Rumford. He died Aug. 11, 2000.

Mrs. Horne enjoyed knitting, crocheting and cake decorating, as well as reading and playing bingo.

She is survived by her daughter, Anna Touchette and her husband, Maynard of Peru; a son, Alton and his wife, Janet of Athens; three sisters, Pat Thomas and her husband, Jim of Mexico, Beverly Stevens of Auburn and Marilyn Labbe of Topsham; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by three brothers, Keith, Harland and Lewis.
