Charges

Jan. 17 at 1:27 p.m. — Judith Walker, 62, of Rumford was charged by Cpl. Lawrence Winson on Franklin Street with violation conditions of release. Walker is scheduled to appear in court on March 6.

Jan. 17 at 8:20 p.m. — Linda Bradley-Smith, 48, of Mexico was charged by Patrolman Brad Gallant on Rumford Avenue with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration. Bradley-Smith is scheduled to appear in court on April 3.

Jan. 18 at 10:01 p.m. —Theodore Bernard, 41, of Rumford was charged by Cpl. Lawrence Winson on Clachan Place with operating a motor vehicle with an expired license. Bernard is scheduled to appear in court on April 3.

Jan.  20 at 8:35 a.m. — Daniel Marshall, 26, of Rumford was arrested by Cpl. Lawrence Winson on York Street on a warrant charging failure to appear for a felony theft. Marshall was unable to post bail and was transported to the Oxford County Jail.

Jan.  20 at 10 a.m. — Dahlia Robichaud, 41, of Mexico was charged by Cpl. Lawrence Winson on Waldo Street with criminal threatening. Robichaud is scheduled to appear in court April 3.

Jan.  21 at 12:50 a.m. — Jeremy Gallant, 36, of Rumford was arrested by Patrolman Brad Gallant on Bridge Street on a charge of operating a motor vehicle beyond license conditions and operating an unregistered motor vehicle. Gallant is scheduled to appear in court April 3.

Jan.  22 at 1:26 p.m. — Mark Glover, 50, of Rumford was charged by Cpl. Lawrence Winson on Spruce Street on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with an expired license. Glover is scheduled to appear in court April 3.

Jan.  22 at 7:12 p.m. — Jacob Cole, 25, of Rangeley was arrested by Cpl. Lawrence Winson on Route 2 on a charge of operating after suspension. Cole posted $500 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in court on April 3.

Criminal mischief

Jan.  18 at 4:46 p.m. — Sgt. Tracey Higley is investigating damage to a gate on the South Rumford Road. No estimate listed.

Theft

Jan.  16 at 9:57 a.m. — Cpl. Lawrence Winson is investigating the theft of $15 in change and a wallet from a vehicle on Androscoggin Avenue.

Jan.  16 at 10:47 a.m. — Patrolman Dave Hodgson is investigating the theft of a $100 cellphone from a vehicle on Kennebec Street.

Jan.  18 at 5:21 p.m. — Sgt. Tracey Higley is investigating the theft of rent money from Washington Street. Estimated loss: $250.

Jan.  19 at 2:33 p.m. — Sgt. Tracey Higley is investigating the theft of money from Franklin Street. Estimated loss: $500.

Jan.  21 at 9:05 a.m. — Patrolman Dave Hodgson is investigating the theft of a $1,500 computer from a Lowell Street business.

Wanted

Thomas Taylor, 50, of Rumford is wanted on a Rumford District Court warrant for failure to comply with civil contempt order. The warrant is dated Sept. 11, 2011.
