Temperatures in the high 40s Tuesday afternoon resulted in drainage problems for Main Street when snowmelt backed up on the side of the street by Cafe Nomad. Cafe owner Scott Berk, a member of the Norway Downtown Board of Directors, along with Norway Downtown director Brenda Melhus, shoveled the snow and water to help ease it into a nearby street drain. The nonprofit organization works with local residents and businesspeople for the betterment of the historic Main Street and the downtown area.
