LEWISTON — James “Jimmy, Jimbo” T. Boucher, 46, of Lewiston, died Tuesday, Jan. 24, at Central Maine Medical Center, with his family at his side.
James was born March 22, 1965. He was very proud to have completed his high school diploma and was working toward a college degree. Jimmy loved spending holidays with his family and friends and enjoyed sharing family time most weekends with his brother, Kevin, and his family.
His biggest enjoyment was being at camp in the summer, where you could find him every morning out on the dock or in the boat doing his favorite thing. He loved playing pool and poker and was a member of the New Auburn Social Club in Lewiston. He was an avid football fan and always cheered for the Patriots. Jimmy was a great dancer and never missed an opportunity to show it. He had a huge, loving heart and fun personality. Everyone who met him became his friend.
Jimmy is survived by his father, Vincent Boucher of Augusta; sisters, Sheryl Glidden and her husband, Mark, of Yarmouth and Jacinda Dionne and her husband, Jamie, of Belgrade; his brother, Kevin and his wife, Noreen, of Readfield; his aunt, Carrie Limeburner; uncle, Gary Stratton; a special family friend, Sandy Pomelow of Winthrop; childhood friends, Scott Bryer and John Boivin; nieces, Teisha and her husband, James, Amanda, Siera, Sarah and Olivia; a nephew, Zachary; cousins and many special friends.
Jimmy was predeceased by his mom, Linda Stratton Boucher; her parents, Jennie and Bill Stratton; paternal grandparents, Wilfred and Lucienne Boucher; aunts, Connie Boucher and Terry Smith; uncles, Harold and Billy Boucher; and a cousin, Frankie Smith.
