CINNAMINSON, N.J. — The wedding of Alisa Michnik and Jeffrey Dube was held at 7 p.m. at the Merion Chapel in Cinnaminson, N.J., on Saturday, Oct. 15. The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Elizabeth BanSansage.
The bride is the daughter of Phil and Luda Michnik of Cherry Hill, N.J. The bridegroom is the son of Tom and Pat Dube of Greene.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a Casablanca strapless gown with a princess sweetheart neckline. The satin flared A-line gown had bead work embellishment and embroidery accented with freshwater pearls, Swarovski crystals and rhinestones. Sleek satin buttons down the entire back of the gown finished it perfectly.
The matron of honor, Flora Mattioli and most of the bridesmaids are from the New Jersey area, while the best man, Chris Carter, and many of the groomsmen were from the Maine and Pennsylvania area. The rest of the bridal party in attendance was Olya Sudakova, escorted by Joe Jones; Sharon Kaplan, escorted by Calvin Hunter; Jeannell Simms, escorted by Jason Pleau; Ilyssa Strugatz, escorted by Ben Dube; Crystal Park, escorted by Jared Poland; Heather Sandstrom, escorted by Scott Dudley; and Reenie Griesser, escorted by Eric Blake.
A lavish reception followed at one of the ballrooms at the Merion complex, with dancing until 1 a.m. A second reception was held in Maine the following week on Oct. 22 at Pelletier’s Banquet Facility in Lewiston. They finished off the festivities with a 10-day honeymoon in Puerto Villarta.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of Cherry Hill High School and obtained bachelor degrees in finance and general business at the University of Maryland in 2005. She is a patent writer and entrepreneur involved in new product development.
The bridegroom is a 1999 graduate of Leavitt Area High School. He holds a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Bloomsburg University in Pennsylvania, graduating in 2003. In 2005 he obtained his master’s degree in administration from Westchester University also in Pennsylvania. He started his own fitness company in 2007.
The couple currently resides in West Chester, Pa.
