AUBURN — Madge Dunn (Rhoads) Frost, 93, of South Paris, died on Jan. 28, at the Hospice House, following a long illness.

She was born Sept. 19, 1918, in Portland, to Cornelia (King) and Michael Rhoads. She was the first of three children, Madge, Carolyn and Robert. She was a graduate of Deering High School and Westbrook Junior College.

She worked in the Trust Department at Maine National Bank for many years. She was a member of the National Secretary’s Association and the Maine Charitable Mechanic Association. She lived in Portland most of her life at her childhood home on Bradley Street and most recently in South Paris on Hill Street. She was a member of the Clark Memorial United Methodist Church in Portland.

She is survived by her husband of eight years, Stanley L. Frost of South Paris; her son, the Rev. Dr. Richard E. (Dianne Pallas) Barbour Jr. of Leesburg, Fla.; her daughter, Cornelia M. Barbour of Leesburg, Fla.; three stepchildren; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her sister, Carolyn (Rhoads) Frost; and husbands, Richard E. Barbour, Lawrence Minott and Charles Counter.
