AUBURN — Roger J. Pomerleau, 72, a resident of Bartlett Street in Lewiston, died Wednesday, Jan. 25, at the Hospice House, with family at his side.

He was born in Auburn, Dec. 10, 1939, a son of the late Victorien and Adrienne (Dube) Pomerleau. Roger was educated in Lewiston schools and remained a lifelong resident of this community.

On July 3, 1965, he married the former Theresa S. Rancourt. Roger worked 25 years as a machine operator at Bates Mill, until his retirement. He enjoyed watching sports and was an avid Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan. Roger was a loving, devoted and hard-working husband, brother and uncle, who will be dearly missed.

He leaves his wife of 46 years, Theresa Pomerleau of Lewiston; three sisters, Jeannine Poirier of Lewiston, Joan Parent and husband, Ray, of Florida, and Connie Hart of Lisbon; and several nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Austin and all the staff at the Hospice House for the care and compassion shown to Roger and his family during his illness.
