JAY — The Jay-Livermore-Livermore Falls Chamber of Commerce will hear a presentation Friday morning on the design of its 2012-13 Area Guide, which is distributed to visitors and tourists throughout the year at various venues.

The breakfast meeting, sponsored by PuroClean Water-Mold-Fire-Biohazard Damage Specialists of Livermore, will begin at 7 a.m. Feb. 3 with a light breakfast and networking at LaFleur’s Restaurant on Route 4.

Members planning to attend are asked to RSVP by 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 2, at 897-6755.

The business meeting will be called to order at 7:30 a.m. Topics will include a presentation on the history and services of PuroClean by owner Roger Soucy Jr. and a brief overview of the upcoming “Web 101- Getting an Online Presence” workshop.

The program portion of the meeting will be led by Chamber President Bruce Adams, Treasurer Paul Soucie and Mike Blanchet and Diana Gray of the Franklin Group.

This is the sixth-year that Gray has designed the Chamber’s Area Guide, and she is the current graphic design/production manager at the Franklin Group. Blanchet, in his 19th year as an advertising account executive with Sun Media, will announce early-bird advertising incentives at the meeting.

They will also stress the desire for new photos of area communities, especially action and event shots. They ask that anyone who has an eye for the creative, and would like to see their work published in this year’s guide and potentially even on the cover, to contact Bonnie Perkins at the chamber office at 897-6755. The deadline for photo submissions is March 28.
