CHESTERVILLE — The North Chesterville Extension Homemakers have planned a full schedule of events for 2012. The group usually meets at the Chesterville Town Office on the Dutch Gap Road at 7 p.m. on the third Tuesday of the month unless otherwise noted. The meetings are free, and the public is always invited to attend.
On Feb. 21st, the group will learn about Nova Scotia, Celtic things and recipes to share.
On March 20, the topic will be “Documents,” what to keep, what to toss and when.
In April, the group will enjoy a special outing on Saturday, April 21, for English Tea in Phillips. Members will carpool from Sue Gill’s home on Zion Hill Road at 9:15 a.m. Call 778-3156 by April 14 to be included in the reservation.
In May, the group will resume their regular Tuesday night meeting at 7 p.m. on May 15. They will begin planning for the plant/bake sale and the June outing. The June outing will be announced at a later date.
On Sept. 25, the meeting will take place on the fourth Tuesday because of the Farmington Fair. Members will work on a Christmas craft ornament for the Rotary Festival of Trees to be auctioned for charity.
On Oct. 16, the group asks that people come with ideas to complete program planning and election of officers for 2013.
The date for the November meeting has not been determined yet, but members will be car pooling to Nowetah’s American Indian Museum and Gift Store in New Portland.
Dec. 11 will be the annual Christmas party. This year it will be held at the home of Kelly Gray.
Officers elected for 2012 are president, Rosemary Poulson; vice president, Susan Gill; treasurer, Susan Starrett; secretary, Linda Gramlich; advisory board representative, Linda Gramlich; and co-advisory board representative, Linda Brown.
