The fourth annual “Maine’s Got Talent” competition is under way. Participants, ages 5 years and up, may be solo, duet or group acts and may sing, dance, do gymnastics, play a musical instrument or demonstrate some other talent. To participate, send an entry form along with a DVD or VHS of a two-minute performance. Entry fee: $25. Finalists will compete in early May 6 at Morgan Hill Event Center in Hermon. The winner will receive a trophy, $500 and performance opportunities. Previous winners, above, are Chris Camire of Auburn, 2010; and Hannah Rowell of South Portland, 2011.
