AUBURN — Janice Johnson passed away peacefully and comfortably Sunday, Feb. 5, at the Hospice House.

She was born in Livermore Falls, July 17, 1940. Janice was kind-hearted and true. She was a refreshing spirit and a joy to be around. Her family knew her as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, niece and cousin.

Her computer family knew her as Chameleon 1940, and her Native family knew her as Red Wing. She was well-loved and appreciated by many, sharing her wisdom and humor with everyone. She also had a special fondness for animals, she loved wildlife and bird watching. As a pet mother, she shared her love over the years with various pets all of whom got her special attention and love.

She is survived by her daughter, Vereen; four granddaughters, AmyLynn, Charadee, Laura and Cari; three grandsons, Mark, Andy and Darryl; six grandchildren, Damian, Asia, Perrin, Michael, Amelia and Antonio; five sisters; three brothers; one very special aunt; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was predeceased by her parents; and a brother.
