OXFORD — The Oxford Casino will hold a job fair Saturday, March 3, for applicants to fill more than 50 openings for table-game dealers, according to a release from the company.

Jack Sours, vice president and general manager of The Oxford Casino, called the job fair “the first of many.”

“While this first job fair focuses on dealers, we will soon begin to seek applications to fill hundreds of jobs with local talent,” Sours said. Dealers are being hired first to make time for casino-sponsored training.

According to the release, casino management will hold more job fairs in the coming weeks to hire staff for the restaurant, facilities, security and administration.

The casino is set to open this summer. The job fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at 1591 Main St., next door to the Hannaford supermarket in Oxford.
