Crews from FairPoint Communications and Central Maine Power replace a utility pole along Riverside Drive in Auburn on Monday morning. Police closed the road for about four hours after a 2006 Hummer driven by Jessica Carpentier, 23, struck the pole. Carpentier received minor injuries and the accident remains under investigation, according to police.
