HARRISON — Church Women United will meet for a human rights celebration at 9:30 a.m. Friday, March 2, at the Congregational Church.

Speakers will be Marion Chase, prison ministry; Sister Renatta, homeless women; and Pastor Franklyn Anderson, Honduras school children mission.

Saunders benefit

HEBRON — A benefit supper for Debbie Saunders will be held from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Saturday, March 10, at Hebron Academy Dining Hall. Menu includes homemade spaghetti, lasagna, salads and pies. Donations at the door. Raffles.

Lunch, auras program

HARTFORD — Pinpoint of Light Spiritualist Center, Hartford Town Hall, 1190 Main St., will offer a devotional service at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, March 11. Following the service is a potluck lunch and then a program about auras.

Just as the planet’s magnetic field displays auroras (emission of light from atoms excited by electrons accelerated along the planet’s magnetic field lines), so does our spiritual body emit light. Historical society

RAYMOND — The Raymond Casco Historical Society will host speaker Carol Drew at 6:30 p.m. Monday, March 12, at the Raymond Public Safety building on Route 302. Drew will speak about preparing seedlings for spring gardening of flowers and vegetables.

Senior citizens

BETHEL — The Bethel Senior Citizens Club will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 14, at the Methodist Church.

Members will bring a dish to share for the potluck dinner. A donation of $3 is requested. Members will also bring items for the auction being held at this meeting.

Chicken pie supper

PARIS — Boy Scout Troop 130 will sponsor a chicken pie supper and Chinese auction Friday, March 16, at American Legion Hall. Supper is from 5 to 6 p.m. Auction tickets sold until 6:15 p.m., drawings begin at 6:30.

Supper is $7 for adults, $4 for children under 12.
