FARMINGTON — Funeral services for Priscilla W. Ames were held Feb. 21 at the Old South Congregational Church, with the Rev. Richard L. Bennett officiating. Patricia Hayden was the organist. Scripture selections included Psalm 121, Psalm 23, verses from John 14 and verses from Revelation 21. The congregation sang “Our God, Our Help in Ages Past” and “How Great Thou Art.” Her daughter-in-law, Amy Carsten gave a personal eulogy and friends offered their remembrances. Following services, a family reception was held in the church vestry hosted by Old South friends and family. A video tribute of Priscilla’s life was shown to those gathered. Spring burial will be at Fairview Cemetery, Farmington. Arrangements were in the care and guidance of the Wiles Remembrance Center.
