LEWISTON — Theresa A. Landry, 83, a resident of Central Avenue, Lewiston, died Monday, Feb. 27, at St. Mary’s d’Youville Pavilion, following a long illness, with her family by her side.
She was born in Lewiston, Oct. 27, 1928, the daughter of Joseph and Irene (Poulin) Asselin. Theresa was educated in Auburn schools and was a graduate of the former Bliss Business School in Lewiston.
Following her education, she was employed most of her life with the city of Lewiston as a tax clerk. She was a member of Holy Family Church and the Ladies of St. Ann. She was an avid bowler, who also loved to sew, as well as hosting family gatherings and spending time with her family.
Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Landry of Clermont, Fla., and Gary Landry and wife, Debbie, of Lewiston; one daughter, Marlene Ingraham and husband, Edward, of Kennebunk; two brothers, Robert and Daniel Asselin, both of Lewiston; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Rosaire N. Landry in 1987.
