Charges

Feb. 28 at 1:38 p.m. — Joshua Walker, 20, of Rumford was arrested by Cpl. Lawrence Winson on Lincoln Avenue on a warrant charging failure to appear for operating after suspension. Walker posted $250 cash bail and was released.

Feb.  28 at 3:30 p.m. — Coty Beardsley, 25, of Mexico was arrested by Cpl. Lawrence Winson on Route 2 on a warrant for failure to pay fines for operating under the influence. Beardsley posted $420 cash bail and was released.

Feb.  28 at 8:10 p.m. — William Schisler, 22, of Peru was arrested by Patrolman Brad Gallant on Waldo Street on a charge of violation conditions of release and attaching false plates. Schisler was ineligible to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in court on May 8.

Feb.  28 at 8:10 p.m. — Katelynn Giasson, 23, of Peru was arrested by Patrolman Brad Gallant on Waldo Street on a charge of violation conditions of release, permitting unlawful use and attaching false plates. Giasson was ineligible to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in court on May 8.

Feb.  29 at 3:40 p.m. — Kelly Waterhouse, 37, of Rumford was charged by Patrolman Joseph Sage on Pine Street with possession of drug paraphernalia. Waterhouse is scheduled to appear in court May 8.

March 1 at 1:20 a.m. — Autumn Socquet, 24, of Rumford was arrested by Sgt. Tracey Higley on Spruce Street on a charge of domestic assault. Socquet posted $800 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in court on April 3.

March 2 at 10:34 a.m. — Timothy Tuttle, 23, of Rumford was arrested by Patrolman Dave Hodgson on River Street on a warrant for failure to pay fines for an assault. Tuttle posted $250 cash bail and was released.

March 2 at 2:04 p.m. — Derrick Gammon, 42, of Rumford was arrested by Cpl. Donald Miller on Derrick Lane on a charge of domestic terrorizing. Gammon posted $1,500 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in court on May 8.

March 2 at 6:29 p.m. — Anthony Heath, 25, of Rumford was arrested by Patrolman Brad Gallant on Cumberland Street on a charge of violation conditions of release. Heath was ineligible to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in court April 3.

March 2 at 7:45 p.m. — Two teenage girls were charged by Sgt. Douglas Maifeld on Cumberland Street with possession of alcohol by a juvenile. They are scheduled to appear in court April 3.

March 2 at 11:07 p.m. — Cory Virgin, 19, of Mexico was charged by Patrolman Brad Gallant on Route 108 with possession of alcohol by a minor. Virgin is scheduled to appear in court April 3.

March 2 at 11:43 p.m. — Levi Rajaniemi, 20, of Rumford was arrested by Patrolman Brad Gallant on Route 108 on a charge of furnishing a place for minors to consume alcohol. Rajaniemi, who was charged additionally with possession of marijuana, illegal transportation of liquor by a minor and illegal transportation of drugs by a minor, posted $800 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in court May 8.

March 2 at 11:43 p.m. — John Welch, 23, of Mexico was arrested by Patrolman Brad Gallant on Route 108 on a charge of furnishing liquor to a minor. Welch posted $800 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in court May 8.

March 3 at 12:16 p.m. — Chance Bellanceau, 19, of Mexico was arrested by Patrolman Dave Hodgson on Portland Street on a charge of refusing to submit to arrest and theft shoplifting. Bellanceau was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in court May 8.

March 3 at 6:06 p.m. — Jeffrey Hill, 23, of Rumford was arrested by Sgt. Douglas Maifeld on River Street on a warrant for an indictment for aggravated trafficking in schedule W drug, two counts. Hill was unable to post bail and was transported to the Oxford County Jail.

March 3 at 11:24 p.m. — Patrick Daggett, 41, of Mexico was arrested by Patrolman Brad Gallant on Main Street, Mexico, on a charge of operating after suspension. Daggett posted $1,000 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in court May 8.

March 4 at 2:24 p.m. — Donald Ingerson, 18, of Otisfield was charged by Patrolman Dave Hodgson on Waldo Street with theft. Ingerson is scheduled to appear in court May 8.

March 4 at 4:55 p.m. — Thomas Gilbert Jr., 21, of Rumford was arrested by Cpl. Lawrence Winson on Bridge Street on a warrant for failure to pay fines for an assault. Gilbert was unable to post bail and was transported to the Oxford County Jail.

March 4 at 8:10 p.m. — Gerald Pelletier, 46, of Mexico was arrested by Patrolman Brad Gallant on Lincoln Avenue on a charge of operating after suspension. Pelletier posted $600 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in court May 8.

Burglary

Feb.  29 at 3:59 p.m. — Cpl. Lawrence Winson is investigating the theft of copper from a Pine Street residence.

March 3 at 11:26 p.m. — Sgt. Douglas Maifeld is investigating the theft of a television from a Lincoln Avenue business. Estimated loss: $1,659 for TV and $1,000 damage to a door.

Feb.  28 at 9:23 a.m. — Cpl. Lawrence Winson is investigating damage to a tire on Congress Street.

Theft

Feb.  28 at 8:49 p.m. — Sgt. Douglas Maifeld is investigating the theft of alcohol from a Waldo Street business.

March 4 at 11:12 a.m. — Cpl. Lawrence Winson is investigating theft of money from a vehicle on Maine Avenue. Estimated loss: $449.

Wanted

Holly Branam, 40, of Peru is wanted on a Rumford Court warrant for failure to pay fines for operating after suspension. The warrant is dated Dec. 19, 2011.
