LEWISTON — The University of Southern Maine’s Lewiston-Auburn College announces that Lynsey Wood has been hired as a student success adviser.

Wood graduated from the University of Southern Maine’s Lewiston-Auburn College in 2005 with a bachelor of arts degree in social and behavioral science. She has worked in both human resources and higher education, most recently as the registrar for Kaplan University’s Maine campuses. She is scheduled to complete her master of science degree in higher education in May.

Wood will be working individually with students to support their learning through academic advising, career facilitation and learning strategies support. She will specifically work with students in the social and behavioral studies and arts and humanities programs, helping them to design their path toward earning their bachelor’s degree, as well as helping students transition into jobs and graduate school.
