LEWISTON — Annette D. Hamann, 92, formerly of 7 Shirley Ave., Lewiston, died Friday, March 9, at the Marshwood Nursing Home.
She was born in Lewiston, April 8, 1919, the daughter of Philippe and Emilia Therrien Pratt. Educated in local schools, she was employed for many years as a Fancy Stitcher for Clarke Shoe Co.
On Nov. 8, 1947, she married Robert J. Hamann at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul. Mr. Hamann passed away on May 24, 2001. A member of Holy Family Church, Prince of Peace Parish, she was active in the Dames de St. Anne.
Survivors include two sisters, Marie-Ange and husband, Don Roy, of Lewiston and Lorraine Roy of Lewiston; sister-in-law and caregiver, Irene Gagne of Greene; sisters-in-law, Jeanne Pelletier of Caribou and Anita Levesque of Auburn; and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by four brothers, Roland, Gerard, Roger and Bertrand Pratt; and three sisters, Therese Pratt, Jeanine Ayotte and Rita Galipeau. Donations and condolences may be accessed online at www.albert-burpee.com.
