SALEM TOWNSHIP — A story regarding the SAD 58 school budget that appeared on Page B1 Saturday contained incorrect information.

The proposed school budget of $10,114,552 is an increase of $258,000 over 2011-12.

May 29 is the target date for the school district budget meeting. A definite date for the meeting will be posted after district towns have posted warrants for the meeting.

SAD 58 includes the five towns of Avon, Eustis, Kingfield, Phillips and Strong.

The information was incorrectly reported by the Sun Journal.
