LEWISTON — Madeleine F. Reny, 79, of Lewiston, passed away Monday, March 12, at Central Maine Medical Center.

She was born in Berlin, N.H., Oct. 6, 1932, daughter of the late Henry and Graziella Villeneuve Delorge. She was educated in Lewiston schools and graduated from St. Dominic High School. Madeleine married Gerard J.P. Reny May 30, 1953. Prior to her retirement in 1992, she was employed by John Hancock Life Insurance Co. at their Lewiston office and retired from their Augusta office.

Madeleine enjoyed time spent with her family and many, many friends.

She is survived by her husband, Gerard of Lewiston; a daughter, Susan Reny and companion, Sally Bartlett, of Poland; three grandchildren, Chantel Reny, Danielle Reny and Benjamin Reny, all of Lewiston; four great-grandchildren, Aizik, Kiley, Makenna and Aleksus; a sister, Betty June Olson of Lewiston; a brother, David Lowell and wife, Diane, of Lewiston.

She was predeceased by two sons, Scott in 2010 and Carl in 2011; two sisters, Theresa Bodily and Marie Tancrel; and a brother, Richard Lowell.
