I want to share with you a saying I am sure you have all of heard at some point in time, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” I challenge you all to change your way of thinking when it comes to your business strategies.
Whether you are growing a new business or nurturing an existing one the care is the same. An investment of time, money and energy is vital to the success.
We as your Chamber want you to be prepared to grow your business and in doing so you need to be responsive to your consumers, the economy and all other factors that play into a purchase of your product and/or service. Know what you are selling and prepare your “elevator speech”. If someone was to ask you today, “Why should I make this purchase from you?” know what your answer will be and ensure your staff knows as well.
Secondly, think, think and re-think what it is you are advertising and how you are accomplishing this. If you are doing the same methods over and over with little results what is that telling you.
With the Chamber on your side you have an abundance of different possibilities at your disposable. Do you know what these are and have you taken advantage of them. Marketing and advertising is one; effective marketing means increased traffic therefore increased revenues. You truly may have the best product and service, but if you’re not marketing yourself will anyone know this?
We here at the Chamber pride ourselves on working with its members to show them how to stand out even in the most trying of times. We can only help you if you are ready to be helped.
Are you ready to shine? Call us today to schedule your personal marketing consultation. Peter Perry, Chamber Administrator can be reached at (207) 364-3241.
