BRUNSWICK — The collection of books for the Mid Coast Hospital Spring Used Book Sale will begin Saturday, March 17, at the former Bookland, Cook’s Corner Mall. Hours are 9 a.m. to noon.

Books of all kinds may be dropped at the back door of the former Bookland on Saturday, as well as Saturdays, March 24 and 31, and April 7, and Wednesday, April 4, 9 a.m. to noon.

Volunteers will be available to help people with their donations. Textbooks, Reader’s Digest condensed books and magazines are not accepted.

Sponsored by the Mid Coast Hospital Auxiliary, the book sale will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, April 12 and 13, in the Café Conference Room of Mid Coast Hospital, 123 Medical Center Drive.

Proceeds will benefit health career scholarships for area students. Scholarship applications are on the hospital website at www.midcoasthealth.com/volunteer and must be submitted by April 15.
