Local artist Jeanelle Demers is showing a cross-section of her work this month at She Doesn’t Like Guthries, 115 Middle St., Lewiston. On display are several pieces from her “200 Faces” project for which she has been commissioned to paint 200 portraits of community members. Demers specializes in acrylic paintings, using vivid colors. Also on exhibit are some of her most recent wildlife and aviation-themed explorations.
