LIVERMORE FALLS — Mary Louise Perry, 83, a resident of Park Street, Livermore Falls, passed away unexpectedly at her residence, where she stayed with her son and daughter-in-law.

She was born July 23, 1928, in Somerset, Mass., the daughter of Herbert and Kathryn (Murphy) Simmons. Mary attended school in Taunton, Mass.

On April 29, 1947, in Taunton, she married her husband of 52 years, Edwin A. Perry. He passed away Sept. 25, 1999.

Upon celebrating their 50th anniversary, the couple stated “seems natural.” “Just another day,” said Mrs. Perry. The two shared many laughs and lots of love during their marriage.

Mary worked in retail sales for Berk’s and Ronnie’s and a foot press operator at Upson & Perry Box companies, which made jewelry boxes. Her enjoyment in life was spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her daughter, Beverly Whitlock and her husband, Robert, of Texas; two sons, Edwin Perry Jr. and his wife, Debra, of West Virginia, and Kenneth Perry and his wife, Donna, of Livermore Falls; nine grandchildren, Eddie Perry and his wife, Kristen, Daniel Perry, Joshua Perry and his wife, Adrianna, Jamie Perry, Kenneth Perry Jr. and his wife, Shannon, Jillian Sawyer and her husband, Nathan, David Vargas and his wife, Toni, Sarah Fogle and her husband, Dan, and Sherrie Swindle and her husband, Mark; 18 great-grandchildren; former son-in-law, Joe Vargas and companion, Magda Sheldon, of Texas; former daughter-in-law, Lori Calvey–Wells of Wilton; and brother-in-law, Edwin Paige of Raynham, Mass.

She was predeceased by four sisters, Kay Vierra, Fran Smith, Betty Paige and Eleanor Simmons.
