FARMINGTON — Lucille Jenkins Nutt, formerly of Temple, died on March 14, at Orchard Park Rehab and Living Center.

She was born March 25, 1919, in Temple, the daughter of Wallace and Mellie Jenkins. She attended schools in Temple and graduated from Farmington High School, Class of 1939.

She married George Nutt Feb. 23, 1946, and he died in 1971. She lived in Massachusetts for 40 years and worked for the Foxboro Co. in East Bridgewater. She moved back to Maine to live when she retired.

She was a member of the Henderson Memorial Baptist Church, Deering Grange, Pomona and State Grange, Seventh degree member of the National Grange and had just received her 75 year pin, Eastern Star and the Pearl Harbors Survivors Association.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her brother, George A. Jenkins; and two sisters, Catherine Goldie Bergeron and Blanche Jessie Smith.
