MECHANIC FALLS — David Edward Gagnon Sr., 64, of Mechanic Falls died Thursday, March 15, at his home with his family by his side.

He was born in Lewiston on March 28, 1947, the son of Rene and June Robinson Gagnon. He graduated from Edward Little High School in Auburn.

He was a decorated Vietnam veteran in the U. S. Marines. He served two tours of duty between 1968 and 1972.

He had been employed at Robinson Manufacturing for many years.

He is survived by his children, David Gagnon Jr., Darlene Gagnon Morris, Billy Gagnon, Nicholas Gagnon, Thomas Gagnon and June Gagnon; 10 grandchildren; and four sisters.

He was predeceased by his parents; a sister, Cindy Gagnon Annance; and a brother, Joseph David Gagnon.
