Norumbega Farm, 402 Woodman Road, home to the Fralichs of New Gloucester, will be open for Maine Maple Sunday from11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday March 25, the second year that the Fralich son, Noah, has been tapping trees and producing syrup. The farm will be open for tours of the classic sugar shack (built by hand in the winter of 2011) and sampling of syrup over waffles, with ice cream or with baked apples. Located in the woods, the farm is surrounded by walking trails and syrup will be served at a campfire, weather permitting.
