LEWISTON — Hervey Belisle, 90, died Saturday, March 17, at Central Maine Medical Center, after a short illness.

He was born in Lewiston, Feb. 10, 1922, the son of Walter and Angelina (Allie) Belisle. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in World War II. Prior to his retirement in 1985, he worked as a sheet metal technician at Bath Iron Works.

He is survived by two sisters, Marie Campbell of Manchester, N.H., and Lina Albert of Skowhegan; one brother, Odoric Belisle of New Jersey; his long-time companion, Laura Sylvia of Auburn; her children; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents; one sister, Rolande; and three brothers, Roger, Eddy and Leo.
