AUBURN — Marion E. “Ginny” Schnopp, 81, of Lewiston, died on Sunday, March 18, at the Hospice House.

She was born in Portland, June 28, 1930.

Ginny was in the Pine Tree Warriors, the Snow Shoe Club, and the ACME Club. She also attended Adult Education courses.

Ginny worked at several shoe shops, she worked in the kitchen at the Multi-Purpose center, and at the fisheries on the piers of Portland.

She enjoyed playing bingo, going out to eat fried clams, spending time with her children and grandchildren, watching the Red Sox and Patriots, knitting and painting felt pictures.

She is survived by her loving sons, Bob, John and Nick; a loving daughter, Robin; her brother-in-law, Robert Godin; many grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Ginny was predeceased by her former husband, Robert Schnopp Sr.; a sister, Patricia Godin; a nephew, Jimmy Godin; and her loving parents, the McDonalds.
