RUMFORD — Kindergarten registration has been schedule for RSU 10, Mountain Valley Region.

Parents/guardians with children who will be 5 on or before Oct. 15 are asked to call their neighborhood school to preregister their child for kindergarten by Friday, March 30 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Formal registration and screening will take place at each school. Rumford Elementary will hold screenings from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, and from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday, April 12. Meroby will hold registration from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, April 26, and from 8 to 11:30 a.m. Friday, April 27. Parents should allow one hour for the appointment.

Children currently in kindergarten will not attend school on the days of screening in their school.

Parents need to bring an original birth certificate from the town where the child was born and immunization information to the registration session and should contact the school for registration information.
