The students and staff at Lisbon Community School celebrated College for ME Day on Dec. 2 by wearing college T-shirts and hearing about what college had meant to their classroom teachers. “The hallways were decorated with pendants organized by our assistant principal, Ryan Patrie. Pendants depicted the various colleges attended by the adults in the building,” said Principal Carlene Iverson. “Throughout the event students were encouraged to think about continuing their own aspirations after high school. Each kindergarten student received a T-shirt featuring logos from all of the colleges and universities in Androscoggin County, as well as their year of high school graduation, 2024.” Several students and staff who assisted with the program proudly wore their favorite college shirts.
