The Saint Dominic Academy’s first grade class celebrated Christmas by performing a play, “The Three Kittens Christmas,” on Dec. 21. Students were getting ready for Christmas by learning how they can help others in need and how their help is actually a “gift” to the people they help. Then they wrote their own story of how the three kittens could do the same and learn the true meaning of Christmas. The students performing in the play as the three kittens were Kelsey Gagnon, Avery Mackenzie and Ava LePage. The role of the mother cat was portrayed by Leanna Mitri. Kitten carolers were Autumne Blais, Karsyn Siegel and Katryna Sullivan. Also in the play were Caleb Cloutier, Olivia Servidio and Ella Caron as kittens who needed help to know the true meaning of Christmas. Katie Sullivan and Noah Girardin narrated and helped to introduce the five different scenes. Students who helped create the scenery were Autumne Blais, Caleb Cloutier, Desiree Fournier, Noah Girardin, Avery Mackenzie, Laura Mockler and Karsyn Siegel. Parents and grandparents came to see the performance at school and then joined the class for a Christmas party after.
