LINCOLNVILLE — A YWCA Camp Tanglewood reunion is being planned for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 16. All former YWCA campers, staff and counselors are invited. Tanglewood was a YWCA camp from 1939 to 1972.

The event is in recognition of Tanglewood 4-H Camp and Learning Center’s 30th anniversary and Tanglewood’s 75th year as a facility. A second, public event will be held Saturday, Aug. 25, to celebrate these milestones.

It will be an opportunity for alumni from the YWCA and 4-H camp eras to reconnect. Since 1982, the University of Maine Cooperative Extension has been using Camp Tanglewood for various outdoor education programs.
