AUBURN — Leona M. Waterman, 83, of Gray, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the Hospice House of Androscoggin on Tuesday, March 20.

She was born in New Gloucester on June 26, 1928, the daughter of Norine and Arthur Snow.

She is survived by her former husband, Willard H. Waterman; their son, Sterling Waterman and his wife, Juanita; and daughters, Bethany Marshall and her husband, Jim, Belinda Contas and husband, John, Nordica Danieli and husband, Rick, and Kimberly Farquhar and her husband, Gary; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and also her longtime friend, Nelson Hood.
