LEWISTON — Donald N. St. Marie, 51, of 40 Homefield St., Lewiston, died Friday, March 23, at Central Maine Medical Center, following a long illness.
He was born in Lewiston, March 14, 1961, the son of Normand and Jeannine Robert St. Marie. Educated in local schools, he was a graduate of St. Dominic Regional High School, Class of 1979, and later attended the University of Maine at Orono.
He was employed for many years as a researcher for local banks and for a brief time, Barnett Bank in Florida. Don loved the outdoors, enjoyed fishing, and, alongside his father, enjoyed winemaking. He also enjoyed attending his niece’s and nephew’s sporting events.
A member of Holy Family Church, Prince of Peace Parish, he is survived by his mother, Jeannine of Lewiston; two brothers, David and wife, LeeAnn, of Rangeley and Daniel of Boston, Mass.; two sisters, Pamela and husband, Brian Kay, of Lewiston and Elaine LeBlanc of Lewiston; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his father, Normand.
