AUGUSTA – Multiplatinum singer-songwriter Dierks Bentley will bring his “Country & Cold Cans Tour” back to the United States this spring, with a stop May 3 at the Augusta Civic Center.

Republic Nashville’s Eli Young Band will rejoin Bentley for the run, along with a combination of Will Hoge and The Cadillac Black in the opening slot.

Tickets, starting at $25, go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, March 30. Call Ticketmaster at 1-800-745-3000, or the civic center box office at 626-2400 Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets also available at the civic center and online at www.Ticketmaster.com.

Bentley’s sixth studio album,”Home,” released in February, is a return to the country mainstream after his Grammy-nominated “Up On The Ridge” album of bluegrass and roots music.

“Home” produced a No. 1 hit,  good-time song “Am I The Only One,” that has been certified gold and received an ACM nomination for Song Of The Year. (The 47th annual ACM Awards will air live April 1 from Las Vegas on CBS.)

According to Billboard, the song is “maybe his strongest lyrical statement to date, the single reminds us of a late ’70s Haggard track — the ultimate compliment. The past few years have seen some of the best work of his career, and this is another example.”

Bentley’s earlier albums have earned him eight No. 1 hits, more than 5 million total album sales and 10 Grammy nominations.

Eli Young Band’s “Crazy Girl” has been certified platinum and was named Billboard’s No. 1 Country Song of The Year. “Life At Best” made its debut at No. 3 on the Billboard Top Country Albums Chart and No. 6 on the Billboard 200.

Hoge’s seventh studio album, aptly titled “Number Seven,” explores the struggles of the heart that are Hoge’s songwriting stock in trade while revealing range and freshness on the sonic front. For the past 10 years, Hoge has maintained a rigorous touring schedule, building his fan base by playing hundreds of shows a year.

The Cadillac Black band likes to refer to its sound as “country fuzz.” It’s a little bit country, a little bit rock ’n’ roll and lots of energy. The trio’s debut album, slated for release April 17, has already had six songs featured in TV shows, including FOX’s “House,” CW’s “Hart of Dixie” and “Vampire Diaries.”
