AUBURN — Auburn Adult Education has announced course offerings for April.
Certified Nurses Assistant (CNA): It is a 14-week course that meets during the days on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
AAA Safe Driving for Mature Operators: 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, April 25. A video- and lecture-based course designed to increase safe driving awareness for those 55 and older.
Alpaca School: 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 21, at the Upper Farm in Pownal. Learn about alpacas and basic facts about living with and raising alpacas.
Baby Sign Language 101: 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, April 14, eight weeks, Auburn Public Library. Preregister with Auburn Adult Education. Recommended for babies 6 to 36 months.
Basics in Swedish Massage: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 3, six weeks. Designed for pairs/couples to learn and practice basic Swedish massage techniques.
Clean Eating: 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, April 5. Learn how to eat clean.
Exploring Other Lives: 6 to 9 p.m. Monday, April 30. Utilizing guided meditations and Hemi-Sync frequencies.
Heal Your Gut; Heal Your Brain and Body: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 2. The class addresses the connection between the gut and health.
Pet First Aid: 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, April 10.The American Red Cross has developed a course that includes everything owners need to know to keep their pets healthy and safe.
Vinyasa Yoga (all levels): 7 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 23, six weeks. Students will experience yoga through breath work and flowing postures. Classes are held at Chill Yoga.
Zumba: 3:45 to 4:45 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, April 10, six weeks, Park Avenue Gym. Two certified Zumba instructors will lead a full hour of Latin inspired dance fitness.
Digital Photo Uses: 6 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, April 2, five weeks. Learn how-to-email photos, create digital scrapbooks, create photo slide shows (movies), share online and learn how to take the best possible photo and fix those that are slightly off.
Easy Web Design (Click & Go): 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 4, five weeks. Learn how to create a free website or blog or both with only a few clicks using Google.
Spreadsheet Skills: 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 3, five weeks. Learn how to create a variety of spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel and OpenOffice Calc (a free open source office suite).
