Republican state representatives and all but one Republican senator in Augusta want to strip the DeCoster Egg Farm workers of their right to organize for advancing their interests in the workplace, or have succeeded in doing so.

Knowing how these politicians like to prattle on about freedom, I can only conclude that, for them, freedom does not mean the right of everyone to utilize the best legitimate means available to improve their lives, but only the right for some people to enjoy the fruits of other people’s labor.

It sickens me to realize that it is mostly the votes of working people like myself who put these characters in office.
