NORWAY — The next Norway Open Mic Night will be held Friday, March 30, with its new host, singer-songwriter Davy Sturtevant.
Sturtevant has been singing and playing music for audiences for more than four decades. With four CDs under his belt, he has a variety of styles of music to share and is always happy to accompany others on guitar, bass, mandolin or vocals.
Founded in 2002 by singer-songwriter and performer Heather Pierson, the Norway Open Mic Night is a destination for performers of all abilities. People of all ages and experience levels welcome as well as just listeners.
Sign-up is at 6:30 p.m. with the open mic starting around 7 p.m. at First Universalist Church, 479 Main St. Donation: $3 donation at the door; refreshments will be available. For more information, call 743-2828.
