Capt. Von Trapp, played by Calvin Downey, reads a letter telling him to go back into the German Navy just after returning from his honeymoon during rehearsal Thursday of “The Sound of Music” at Buckfield Junior-Senior High School. A cast of 35 has been rehearsing since January for the presentations April 5 through 8. Tickets may be purchased at Tilton’s Market in Buckfield or at the High School’s main office. The shows will be presented at 7 p.m. on April 5, 6, and 7, and at 4 p.m. on April 8. Above, Mickayla Wiley stands to Downey’s right.
