LEWISTON — Maine Centers for Women, Work and Community is offering a free, five-week workshop titled “My Money Works: Tools for Smart Money Choices.

It will be held at their center at the University of Southern Maine’s Lewiston-Auburn College on Westminster Street. Sessions are on Wednesdays from 5:30 to 8 p.m. April 25 and May 2, 9, 16 and 23.

The class is geared to help attendees gain the skills and confidence needed to pay bills, reduce debt, find money for savings, and set personal financial goals. At the end of the class, attendees will have a plan to achieve greater financial stability. A follow-up session is scheduled to provide additional networking and support.
