LIVERMORE FALLS — Selectmen voted Monday to appoint Carmen Cullen to the Regional School Unit 73 Board of Directors to represent the town until the June 12 election.
Cullen is a manager of Cumberland Farms and serves on the town Budget Committee, Board of Selectmen Chairman Bill Demaray said. She will finish Ann Souther’s term on the school board. Souther resigned in January.
Town Manager Kristal Flagg said she told Cullen she would need to take out nomination papers for RSU 73, if she intends to seek election.
Cullen, who lost her bid for election last year, was one of six residents who ran for the school board.
