The Spruce Mountain Middle School Drama Team will perform “Aladdin” for the community at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 5, on the cafeteria stage. Suggested donation is $3 for ages 5 and older. Aladdin is portrayed by Ethan Dow, left, and Princess Jasmine is played by Camryn Berry, right. They ride on a carpet played by Mikenzie Parker, center. In the background at left, Morgan Nelson is dressed as a monkey. Principal Scott Albert will be the fish monger in the play. Others assisting include Ruth Hertz, accompanist; Frances Ricker, music director; Zach Espeaignette, trumpet; Lesley Harmon, artistic director; Jenny Easter, costume mistress; Brittany Paradis, choreographer; Daniel Bomaster, lights; Alex Kennedy and Paradis, assistant directors. Performing in the pit band are Allison Acritelli, Skyler Lewis and Sydney Shaffer. Drama coach Patty Schoen said about 40 students are involved.
